Norway Health Tech and the Norwegian Smart Care Cluster are organising a two-hour webinar to present the opportunities for SMEs, start-ups and spin-outs in the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator programme.
Time to start thinking about taking your business one level up! Think getting funding from the European Commission!
European Commission will launch the new European Innovation Council programme over a two-day event on the 18th and 19th of March presenting the overall programme, deadlines, and rules. The event will provide information about the vision of the EIC and what is behind its funding opportunities. More information here: link
The webinar will bring the EIC program closer to the healthcare ecosystem so, the cluster company members will better understand how the EIC Accelerator or full EIC programme could finance their innovations, solutions, products, and research.
The EIC is offering integrated, agile support across the full innovation spectrum from early-stage research to start-up and scale-up. The EIC Accelerator, in particular, supports high risk/high potential innovations go to the market and scale up. It focuses on start-ups and SMEs developing high impact innovations with the potential to create new markets or disrupt existing ones.
The European Innovation Council (EIC) program is part of the Horizon Europe research and innovation framework programme running from 2021-2027. The EIC is a key novelty of Horizon Europe (replacing H2020’s SME Instrument and Fast Track to Innovation schemes), with a budget of €10 billion for the period 2021-2027, to identify, develop and scale-up breakthrough technologies and disruptive innovations.
This webinar will include information on the funding opportunities for innovative start-ups, SMEs and investors and how our experts will support the members of Norway Health Tech and the members of Norwegian Smart Care Cluster in submitting applications. We have also invited Innovation Norway NCPs to present areas of the EIC programme.
