Eigersund is a municipality in Rogaland, in the southwest.
Eigersund stretches along the coast from Hå municipality in the west to Sokndal municipality in the east and inland, all the way to the county border with Vest-Agder.
The land area is 432 km², and the municipality has a coastline of 107 km.
The number of inhabitants is 14898 per 4th quarter 2017.
The municipal administration is located in the center of Egersund.
