Håmsø Patentbyrå AS was established in 1950 as an independent intellectual property consulting firm.
We offer services regarding patent, trademark and design applications, translations, licensing, litigation and and representation of applicants before Norwegian and international patent authorities.
Our employees have a university or college education (4 with a doctorate) in subject areas such as microbiology, petroleum technology, geophysics, materials technology, building technology, mechanical engineering, hydrotechnology, electronics, oceanography, physics, law and language. In addition, the staff includes various support staff, and in total we are 39 people.
We are one of Norway's largest agencies when it comes to preparing new patent applications. We have extensive experience in continuing Norwegian patent applications abroad, and our international network of contacts includes partners in more than 100 countries.
