Kreftkompasset is a non-profit company, which works to ensure that people who have received treatment for cancer, and their next of kin, have an increased quality of life
Kreftkompasset has five employees. Our experience and expertise are very broad; from work as nurses in cancer care, but also from personal experience of having cancer. Common for all of us is that we have met many people who have undergone treatment for cancer and many of them do not feel well, even though they are cancer free. It is not unusual to feel that you have lost something of yourself and the joy of life. This, in combination with the fact that one "should" be grateful for having survived, can be experienced as challenging. We at Kreftkompasset want to support people who have received treatment for cancer and their relatives.
We provide support to cancer survivors in many different ways; a digital network, podcast, blog, newsletter, books, mentorship program, etc.
Our activities are financed through cooperation with the private and public sector.
